Application requirements

• Locate a Zonta club or e-club in your area using the Club Locator, or contact Zonta International Headquarters if no local club exists: Applicants from geographic areas within a Zonta district where no clubs are located may apply via a Zonta e-club or directly to the district.
• Submit completed application directly to a Zonta club by the deadline printed on that club's application (not to Zonta International): The international site states local club deadlines vary and are not published centrally; applicants must contact a club directly for deadline information.
• Be a woman aged 16-19 as of April 1 of the award year, living in a Zonta district or a citizen of a Zonta country
• Demonstrate active commitment to volunteerism, leadership experience, and knowledge of Zonta International: Leadership experience may be in government, student government, or the workplace.
• Be selected by the local club, then advanced by the district (each district may submit 1-2 applicants) for international-level consideration: This step is performed by the club/district on the applicant's behalf, not a direct applicant action.
