Application requirements
- Become an active SHPE member: Active membership is a minimum requirement for every ScholarSHPE scholarship, so join before the application window rather than during it.
- Complete the ScholarSHPE Common Application: One common application lets you apply to multiple ScholarSHPE opportunities without starting over each time. The window is short: the 2026-2027 application opened February 2 and closed February 16, 2026. GPA is taken as the cumulative GPA on the transcript of your latest institution (2.5 minimum).
- Check for sponsor-specific requirements on the scholarships you pick: Some sponsored scholarships add their own requirements or specifications; SHPE lists those on the ScholarSHPE application page rather than here.
