Application requirements

  • Apply via Common App and add JKCF: Submit through Common App, add Jack Kent Cooke Foundation as a school to access program questions. Opens Aug 19, 2026; deadline Nov 11, 2026.
  • Two academic recommendations: One from an 11th-grade core subject teacher and one from another core teacher/professor since 9th grade, both submitted through Common App.
  • Counselor recommendation and School Report: One counselor recommendation and School Report/School Profile submitted through Common App Recommenders and FERPA.
  • Unofficial transcripts and test scores: Self-report courses/grades and submit unofficial transcripts in Common App. Submit SAT, ACT, AP, or IB score(s); no minimum score but a test must have been taken.
  • JKCF essays and financial information: Complete JKCF-specific questions including short essays and financial information demonstrating unmet need.
