Application requirements
- Complete online APIA Scholarship application: One application covers all APIA scholarships. Initial application includes one 500-word essay and does not require recommendation letters or supporting documents.

- How have your experiences, identity, or community shaped the way you interact with the world? How would the APIA Scholarship support your continued growth as you pursue your future goals? This is a two-part question. Please ensure that you answer every part of the question. Be specific and provide examples. Limit of 500 words
- Provide FAFSA dependency information: Application asks dependency status for the FAFSA. APIA does not require FAFSA submission at the initial application stage per the official guide.
- Additional materials if advanced: Applicants advancing to later selection stages may be asked for additional forms. Recipients later submit transcript and financial information.
