Application requirements
- Become an AISES member: Membership is FREE for students and is a minimum requirement for every AISES scholarship. Step one of the sponsor's own checklist.
- Create a general application profile in OASIS: OASIS is the shared system AISES runs with Indigenous Education, Inc. The General Application Profile can be completed, revised, and submitted year-round, and it matches you only with scholarships you are eligible for -- including the Cobell Scholarship and Dream Warriors awards, each with their own criteria. Doing this early is what opens the rest.
- Gather transcripts and other required documents
- Reach out to references for letters of recommendation: Letters are due May 7, a week after applications close on April 30, so the ask can go out before you submit.
- Submit your application: Applications open December 15 and close April 30. Review runs April-May and award notifications go out August-September on a rolling basis. You must be a full-time student (12+ credit hours) in a STEM field at an accredited college or university.
