Renewable $10,000 annual scholarship for undergraduates majoring in chemistry or chemistry-related fields (chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, chemical technology) who demonstrate financial need. Not open to pre-med, pharmacy, or nursing students; replaces the former ACS Scholars Program for 2026-2027.

Application requirements
- Create an account and complete the online application: Applications ran December 1, 2025 to March 1, 2026 for the 2026-2027 year. All materials, including transcripts, are submitted with the form; you may save and return until the deadline. You must agree to abide by the ACS Code of Conduct.
- Upload your unofficial transcripts
- Prepare a resume or CV
- Collect 2 letters of recommendation
- Write the personal essays: ACS does not publish the essay questions outside the application; its November 2025 information-session recording covers essay strategy.
- Submit your FAFSA Submission Summary: Formerly the Student Aid Report (SAR); required as part of the application.
- Confirm your submission: After submitting you receive a confirmation email from ACS Undergraduate Scholarships (administrator@grantinterface.com). If it does not arrive, check that you clicked Submit, look in spam, and verify your email address. Results are announced in May; if selected, accept by May 30.
