  • Graduate advisor nomination required: Students must be nominated by their graduate research advisor before fellowship review.

Application requirements

  • Have your advisor submit the nomination: Submitted by the student's advisor (or soon-to-be advisor), who explains how the candidate qualifies for a fellowship. All three components must be submitted in sequence and completed by the deadline.
  • Submit your CV and candidate statement: Submitted by the student, along with contact information for an endorser.
  • Have an endorser submit a brief endorsement: Submitted by a current or former instructor, project supervisor, or employer with personal knowledge of your past accomplishments who can speak to your suitability.
