A two-week residential academic enrichment program at Yale for outstanding high school students from around the world. YYGS offers interdisciplinary sessions in science and technology, politics/law/economics, and global challenges, with need-based aid available to domestic and international students.

Application requirements
- Complete and submit the YYGS online application: Applicants must submit the application from the Review page and then pay or resolve the fee in the Applicant Status Portal.
- Enter activities list: YYGS lists an activities list as a required application component.
- Complete essay and short-response questions: YYGS requires one 400-word essay, one 200-word response, and two 280-character fast-take responses.
- Submit official school transcript: An official school transcript is listed among required YYGS components.
- Request one YYGS recommender form: YYGS accepts only the online recommendation form, not written letters.
- Complete financial-aid section if applying for aid: Need-based aid is included in the online application and can cover up to 100% of tuition for domestic and international students.
