Application requirements
- Apply via Submittable during the two-week application window: 2026 window: Jan 19 12:00 a.m. CST through Feb 1 11:59 p.m. CST.
- Upload genre-specific writing sample and statement of purpose: Separate Submittable forms for fiction/poetry/creative writing, TV writing, or playwriting.
- Upload one letter of recommendation: Letter from an English teacher or writing mentor; applicant uploads the letter to Submittable.
