The Technology Student Association's National Conference is the annual culminating event of this national CTSO, where middle and high school members who qualify through their state TSA conference compete in dozens of STEM-focused competitive events.

Special eligibility to verify
- Must be a dues-paying TSA member through a chartered school chapter: TSA competitions (37 middle school and 40 high school events) are open to student members of chartered TSA chapters; the association serves both middle and high school divisions.
- Qualify through your state TSA conference: State advisors register/slot competitors who qualify at their state TSA conference to compete at the National Conference; students do not self-register for national competitive events.
Application requirements
- Join TSA through a chartered school chapter as a dues-paying student member
- Compete at and qualify through your state TSA conference
- Have your state advisor register you for national competitive events by the state deadline: In the 2026 cycle, state advisors slotted registered competitors by May 7-8.
- Complete national conference registration and pay conference fees by the payment deadline: In the 2026 cycle: competitive event participant deadline May 6, payment deadline June 12 (credit card or check); onsite registration was available afterward at higher, card-only rates.
- Submit any required competition materials/uploads ahead of the conference: In the 2026 cycle, competition uploads were due May 11-13.
