National 1st Prize: U.S. EE Savings Bond worth $10,000 at maturity per student (4 teams); 2nd Prize: $5,000 bond per student; 8 National Finalist teams get an expense-paid trip to Washington, DC for Awards Week; 24 Regional Winner teams each receive a Chromebook per student and awards; ~500 Honorable Mention teams get a prize/certificate; all teams submitting a complete project get a certificate and gift. Coaches/schools also receive recognition.

Toshiba/NSTA ExploraVision is a free, team-based K-12 STEM competition in which teams of 2-4 students (with a coach and optional mentor) research a current technology and predict/design its evolution 20 years into the future, submitting a written project with abstract, description, bibliography, and sample web pages. The program spans four grade divisions (Primary K-3, Upper Elementary 4-6, Middle 7-9, High School 10-12), with national winners receiving U.S. EE Savings Bonds and a trip to Washington, D.C.

Application requirements
- Form a team of 2-4 students with a coach: Students enter as a team of 2-4 (no individual entries), with a teacher/coach (21+) and optional mentor; each student may submit only one project per year.
- Confirm citizenship and enrollment eligibility: Students must be US or Canadian citizens/residents (incl. US Territories, DoDEA schools abroad, or Canada) and full-time K-12 students in public, private, parochial, virtual, or home school.
- Research a current technology and envision its future: Team develops a project predicting how a chosen technology will evolve over the next 20 years, addressing a real-world problem.
- Prepare written project materials: Title (max 50 characters), 150-word abstract, project description (max 11 pages), bibliography, and five sample web pages.
- Coach submits the project online before the deadline: The team's coach submits the completed project through ExploraVision.org by 7:00 PM ET on the entry deadline (Feb 3, 2026 for the 2025-2026/34th annual cycle).
