Application requirements
- Find and register at a Society-affiliated regional/state/local science fair: ISEF cannot be entered directly; use the Affiliated Fair Network to find the fair serving your area.
- Compete at your affiliated fair following its local rules and deadlines
- Be selected as a finalist by your affiliated fair: Only finalists selected by an affiliated fair advance to ISEF; each fair sets its own project and paperwork deadlines.
- Submit ISEF finalist paperwork via the Fair Dashboard within 12 calendar days of your fair
- Attend and present at Regeneron ISEF: ISEF 2027 will be held May 8-14, 2027 in Los Angeles, CA; the affiliated fair pays the finalist's registration fee.
